Gabriel acted as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Fund Management for Capricorn Capital Group, strengthening internal structures and providing input for our organisation's growing residential investment programmes. Gabriel brings experience as a founding partner of a boutique real estate investment and management firm, following previous roles as CFO of two similar enterprises, tax lawyer at KPMG, and investment manager at a family office. He is a qualified lawyer (LLM), specialising in international tax law.
Sushmit works as an Associate at Capricorn Capital Group, focusing primarily on financial modelling, valuation issues, and the analysis of real estate portfolios and investment opportunities. He has a background in restructuring and M&A, with experience in lender-led acquisitions, capital structure restructurings, and sponsor-backed transactions. In previous roles, he was responsible for various parts of the underwriting and transaction execution process.
Rinke Kroondijk has over 15 years' experience in property management and has been with SQUARE Asset Management since 2024. Prior to this, he held various senior commercial and management positions at real estate investors and managers, including Aroundtown SA and PingProperties.
Throughout his career, Rinke was responsible for the commercial management of large-scale property portfolios and led various complex projects in the areas of leasing, repositioning, acquisitions and disposals. In doing so, he combines strategic asset management with a strong focus on transactions and value creation.
Marie José has worked at Capricorn Capital Group as a back-office employee since June 2019.
